Marjorie Kristine Mohni, daughter of Sidney and Muriel (Berhendsen) Weaver, was born January 12, 1943, in Spirit Lake, Iowa.  She received her education from  Milford High School in Milford, Iowa. In August of 1960, Marjorie married Merold Mohni at  The Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They were married until 1977. In 1987, Marjorie met Robert Kepler, who remained her life partner until 2018.

She spent most of her time as a caretaker, mother, and housewife. She always had an interest in antiques and worked as an antique dealer, owning Ruthven Antiques in Ruthven, Iowa for several years

Marjorie passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at her home in Ruthven, Iowa.  She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney; mother, Muriel; stepfather, Wiley Lambert; and life partner, Robert.

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Jill James of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Julie (Robert Petersen) Mohni-Petersen of Cokato, Minnesota, Jessica (Larry) Pearson of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Anthony James, Morgan Petersen, and Grant (Molly) Petersen; step-grandson, Justin Pearson; three great grandchildren, Avery Petersen, Allison Petersen, and Archer Petersen; brother, John Lambert of Milford, Iowa; sister, Peggy Robinette of San Francisco, California; one niece, Susan Robinette of California; her two cats, Taffy and Elsa; as well as many other relatives and friends.
