Mark Anderson Lee

Mark Lee, born June 9, 1950, passed away on November 29, 2025. Mark was born and raised in Long Beach, California, where he ran track at Millikan High School. As a young adult, he moved to San Diego and attended San Diego State University. 

Mark worked for many years as a general contractor in residential construction. He lived in Nuevo, California from 1989 until 2012 before retiring and returning to Ocean Beach in San Diego, where he enjoyed coastal living. A lifelong Los Angeles sports fan, Mark was especially proud to cheer on his Dodgers as they won the 2025 World Series shortly before his passing.

He is predeceased by his father Fred Lee, mother Janice Long, sister Kathy Lee, and his beloved heart dog, Bella. Mark is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lani Lee; his son, Jesse Lee; his daughter, Nicole Lee and son-in-law Paul Busacca.

Mark cared deeply for animals and the natural environment and chose a green burial at the Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery without a public service. In honor of his compassion for animals,
