My wife and I came to know Mark through the CDs that he purchased from us. Mark was a fun and caring person who we were glad to interact with.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a Friend of mine at Ringgold. Your Dad always had a Bright and Unique Outlook on Life. Did miss seeing him at our 50th Re-Union. At other Re-Unions he was our Class Memorabilia King. May he Rest in God's Arms and May His Perpetual Light always Shine Brightly upon his Face.

Born December 4, 1956, Mark Clemens Yohe was a man of many talents. Growing up in Finleyville, Pennsylvania Mark attended Ringgold School District, graduating with the class of 1975. He also graduated later from the Columbia School of Broadcasting and a florists program at a separate institute.
Mark spent many years working for his parents, Merle and Ruth (Clancy) Yohe, at Yohe’s Floral Shoppe in McMurray, Pennsylvania until its closure in 1994. He also worked for various other floral shops afterwards including Crall’s in Monongahela and Finleyville Flowers.
Mark played in a variety of bands whose names have been lost to time, though he was known to also play the guitar for the First United Methodist Church in Monongahela. He worked as a broadcaster for 540 AM in Canonsburg. Mark was a DJ for many years, performing at weddings, establishments such as VFWs, and many bars in the area. His moniker was “Professor Nostalgia.”
Mark was married twice, with his first marriage to Carla Van Voorhis yielding his surviving son, Joshua Yohe, and his second marriage to Wendy Wetherell yielding his surviving daughter, Jillian (Yohe) Bucko. His son later had two sons, Colton and Connor, whom he cherished.
Mark went peacefully into the arms of God on September 4, 2025 surrounded by those he loved most in life; his son on one side, his daughter and son-in-law on the other, along with his friend of 60 years, Duane Evans. He is survived by his son, Joshua Yohe, and his sons, Colton and Connor; daughter, Jillian (Yohe) Bucko and her husband, Steven; brother, Ernest Holzapfel, and his wife Veronica, alongside their descendants Eric, Jeff, Derek, Katie, Aimee, Noah, Elijah, Ethen, and Sarah. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Merle and Ruth (Clancy) Yohe.
A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Monongahela, Pennsylvania on September 20, 2025 at 4:00 pm. Food will be available afterwards in the social hall on site. Anyone may attend, feel free to bring food and a good memory. He’d be thrilled that you came.
