Marlea Marie McCollam passed away after a long illness with her husband at her side,on June 6, 2024. Marlea was born July 1, 1949 to William and Viola Waite.
Marlea is preceded in death by her parents, son Tony Reinert, and baby daughter. Brothers David, Dennis, Dale, Ron, Waite sisters Christine and Mary.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years Darrell McCollam, stepchildren Chad Michael Peacher (Jackie), Kym George (Bob), Lauren Nicole McCollam. Eleven grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.
She loved fishing, camping, traveling and being outdoors. If the weather was nice then she was outside doing something. She loved her plants and caring for them. She and her husband would travel as much as possible to visit family and friends. Every trip started with the song "On the road again". She was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren and bragged about them to anyone who would listen. While being a strong-willed person she was very caring, soft-hearted and loving.
Marela was a treasure, and those treasured memories will be in our hearts forever.
