Marshall Bryan McDonald, Jr., 85, of Red Springs, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Bryan McDonald, Sr. and Isabelle Bounds McDonald; his wife, Bess B. McDonald "Gussie".
He is survived by a daughter, Maysie Alder (Baker) and Marshall Bryan McDonald, III (Avia); six grandchildren, Marshall IV, Brad, Hannah, Sarah, Richard, and Maysie, and seven great-grandchildren: Bentley, Brooklynn, Brody, Bryce, Brielle, Paisley, and Everleigh; and a sister, Penny McDonald of Red Springs.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Alloway Cemetery, 631 W. 4th Avenue in Red Springs, NC, Bro. Todd Rentz and Rev. Brian Perry officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Trinity United Methodist Church, 204 3rd Avenue, Red Springs, NC, 28377.
