Msgr. Adam S. McClosky officiating.  The rite of committal will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church Cemetery.

Martha, the youngest of 8 children, was born in Dayton, Texas to Anthony (Tony) and Bessie Walkoviak Cone on December 29, 1937.  Later the family moved to Pasadena, Texas where she graduated from Pasadena High School.  She continued her education by attending a business college in Houston.

Martha married Jack Donald McCleney in LaPorte, Texas on May 29, 1964.  Jack traveled as a union pipe fitter and Martha would travel with him if wives were allowed.  This gave her an opportunity to visit Telavi, Isreal and Alaska.  She spent time in Livingston, Angleton and Arizona.  They made their home in Anderson before retiring to Carlos.  She was a longtime faithful member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and Altar Society.

Martha retired from Texas Municipal Power Plant in Carlos.  Then she worked at First American Bank in College Station and for Grimes County.  She also took on extra jobs such as cleaning the rectory at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Hall in Anderson.

Martha adopted her nephew, Kenny Cone who lived with her for the past 13 years and in the last years was her primary care taker.

Martha loved traveling with Jack.  While living in Arizona they spent their spare time sight seeing.  They visited Puerto Rico and many other places.  Jack and Martha loved to dance.  Jack spent a lot of his time gambling and Martha would go with him.  While Jack hunted in Iola, Martha would wait for him in the hotel.  They spent many years together until Jack passed away to a long term illness March 20, 1999.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack, her siblings, Amelia Johnson, Virginia Bova, Christine Kominczak, Archie Cone, Harold Cond, Helen Kimich and Phillip (Buddy) Cone.  She is survived by her special nephew, Kenny Cone along with numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and a great number of friends.
