Such a special friend. I enjoyed visiting with her and Mike at Wentworth. Mama was in Wentworth for a while. Martha always had a smile never complained about her health issues. Such a Christian lady. Thanks for the memories.

Martha Anne Ford, 81, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed into her Heavenly Fathers Embrace on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. She was born to A.O. and Ruth Smith in Magnolia, Arkansas on May 25,1944. Martha enjoyed watching Duck Dynasty on television as well as The Golden Girls. But Martha’s most prized passion in life was her family and friends, the visits and phone calls she looked forward to is what would light her face up. As the old saying goes, “to know her, was to love her” and yes, that described Martha.
Waiting for her with open arms on those golden streets in Heaven were her parents,A.O. and Ruth Smith and her sister, Virginia Stevens.
Survived by her spouse, Mike Ford; sons, Robert (Dana) Elliott of Lufkin, TX and Chris Elliott of Stamps, AR; daughter, Tonya (Brian) Belk of Greenbrier, AR; sister, Corrine (LeRoy) Wheelington of Magnolia, AR; grandchildren, Corey (Hannah) Powell, Todd (Maddy)Powell, Kelby (Bridgette) Powell, Cameron Belk, Kara Belk, Ashley (Victor) Villarreal, Courtney (James) Tonnies, Kade (Josey) Elliott, Colton (Madison) Belk and Dawson Belk{Christa); sixteen great grandchildren; and numerous family and friends.
Pallbearers to honor Martha are Corey Powell, Todd Powell, Kelby Powell, Cameron Belk, Kade Elliott, Colton Belk, and Caleb Strack.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2:00 pm at A O Smith Funeral Chapel, Stamps, Arkansas with Bro. Adam Rogers officiating, interment to follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Stamps, Arkansas
A special thanks to the staff at the Greenhouse cottages of Wentworth Place.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at A O Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Stamps, Arkansas.
