Obituary

MARTIN I.'s Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of MARTIN I. MADIGAN, age 74, who left us peacefully on November 5, 2025, one day short of his 75th birthday.  Beloved son of the late Margaret (nee Martin) and James Madigan; dear brother of Theresa Sara (Frank), Elaine Czerepak (Richard), Kathleen Toth, Michael, Timothy and the late Barbara Kosco (Gary); and cherished uncle of Kristina, Melissa, Breanna, Jocelyn, Brittany, Rebecca, Noah, Hailey, Callum and Everett.  U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.  Marty served his country in Korea and Vietnam.  After his service, he attended Cleveland State University and graduated with a degree in Communications.  He loved listening to all types of music.  He taught himself how to play the guitar.  One of his favorite past times was reading about all types of history.  He was a friend of Dr. Bob and was a counselor at Rosary Hall where he earned the nickname "Bulldog."

Marty was a man of simple joys and a big heart--he cherished long walks, loud music (especially The Who) and never turned down a good plate of spaghetti and meatballs.  His laughter, kindness and stories will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

Funeral Service Wednesday, November 12, at 6:30 P.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, where friends may call WEDNESDAY 4 P.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.  Interment private All Saints Cemetery, Northfield.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association of Cleveland, 23215 Commerce Park, Suite 300, Beachwood, OH 44122 or online at alz.org or the Wounded Warriors Project at woundedwarriorproject.org
