Martin Lee Joseph

Martin Lee Joseph, 46, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in Beaumont. Born in Galveston, Texas, June 4, 1979, to Shelia Marie Joseph and Michael Guillory. 

He grew up in the South End Community of Beaumont and attended Dunbar Elementary School, David Crockett Middle School and Central High School. He found purpose as a maritime longshoreman working at the Port of Beaumont. Michael enjoyed working as a longshoreman, working on cars, and valued spending time with his family and friends. He was passionate about helping others however he could. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where he served as an altar boy at a young age. 

Martin embarked on his eternal journey survived by his father, Michael Guillory of Denver, Colorado; sister, Veronica Joseph Alexander (Karmichael) of Beaumont, Texas; brothers, Byron McCarthy of Houston, Texas, and Mihael Debrie Johnson of Beaumont, Texas; three nieces, seven nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Martin is preceded in death by his wife, Kelly Smith Joseph; mother, Shelia Joseph; maternal grandparents, Phillip and Margaret Joseph; paternal grandparents, Lewis and Zadie Margaret Johnson.
