Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Marty’s passing in February and felt compelled to pass along my condolences to Joan and all his family. I knew Marty from my Real Estate days at Borden back in the late 1980s - early 1990s and often refer to that period of my life as one of my great learning experiences which I carry with me to this day. As a colleague, Marty provided such insight into human nature which was invaluable especially to that profession. He was always supportive giving sound advice maybe because...

Dear Joan
Just heard about Marty and am so sorry for your loss. He truly was a great all around guy. I often think about how great a time we had together at Borden Realty.
Sincerely
BOB SHERWOOD

Dear Joan, We are so sorry to hear about Marty's passing. I'll remember always that we were married on the same day, Sept. 21, 1957. Then we raised our young families in Barrington and we even followed you to Audubon as the kids all graduated from HS. We had so much fun as Charter Members in the Barrington Jr. Women's Club. May the Peace of the Lord be with you and Marty, Billy and Jimmy. Rest in Peace, Marty. You did well. Carol and Al Lott and family.

Marty,Billy,Jimmy so sorry to hear about your dad.Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your mom,and your families.

Joan, Rachel and I are praying that Jesus will surround you and your family in his loving arms at this time of need. John and Norma Carter told us of Marty’s home going. We always looked forward to seeing and talking with you and Marty when we would come up from Florida to visit with our friends. Both of you always went out of your way to greet us, and make us feel welcome, and we looked forward to that. May God continue to bless you as you continue to serve Him! Sincerely, Rachel and Bob...

I worked with Marty at Haddonfield Public Schools and he certainly could light up a room. His smile was contagious and we loved his outlook on life. I was thinking about Marty just the other day for some reason not knowing he had been ill. Condolences to his beloved wife Joan and his family and friends. He will certainly be missed by so many. RIP Marty!

Marty, Billy & Jimmy I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a great guy. My best to you, your mom and your families.

I worked with Marty at Borden Realty in Marlton. We had many laughs and good times with Marty and Joan at their home and other get-togethers. He was a great guy with a ready smile. May you rest in peace Marty and may your wonderful family remember the good times to ease their loss.

Martin's Obituary

Martin "Marty" Malony, born on January 3, 1936 in Audubon, NJ lost his bout with cancer on February 20, 2022.  He passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

Martin enjoyed the simple things in life, especially his family and friends.  If they were around, he was happy.  He was always willing to tell you exactly how he felt with nothing but love behind it.  He never forgot a face or a settlement date.  He loved his hometown of Audubon, playing tennis, relaxing at the shore, watching his family play sports and God.  He was a call away if you needed anything fixed.  He had a thirst for conversation and life that could never be quenched.  He was loved by so many and he loved hard...especially his Joanie.  He now gets to watch from heaven above never miss a game or family event.

Martin is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joan B. Malony (nee Clark), his sons, Marty (Debbie), Bill (Marie) and Jim, 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one on the way.  Also survived by his sisters, Doris Sims (Earl) and Jane Parvin and his brother, Nelson Malony (Alison).  He was predeceased by his sister, Peg Hill and brother, George "Ed" Malony.
