Marvin's Obituary

Lester Marvin “Moke” Williams was born May 14, 1938, to the late James and Estella Williams.He departed this life on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

Marvin, to some, but "Moke" to most, was a hard-working jack of all trades. There was nothing he could not fix. He loved farming, and he loved his hogs. 

Marvin served faithfully as a Deacon at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church until the dayGod called him from labor to reward.

Marvin was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene Williams, and a granddaughter, Shaquiyah Clemons.

Marvin leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 65 years, Minnie Williams of Ailey;  two daughters, Andrea (Hubert) Miller and Priscella Ford, both of Ailey; six grandchildren: Riccardo (Terence) Williams of Atlanta, James (Andrea) Mainer, Jr. of McDonough, GA,  Brandon (Crystal) Ford of Atlanta, Alex Mainer of Ailey,  NyEashe (Daquan) of Covington, GA, Kristen (Terence) Bennett of Conyers, GA; fifteen great-grandchildren: Ja’Miya, Brooklyn, Landon, James II, Maryha, Aniyha, Kamni, Lynx, Jaiyda, Zorreyah, Zahir, Jayvion, Kobe, Terrence Jr., and Skyler; one brother, Frank (Martha) Williams of Hampton, GA; two sisters, Laura Thomas of Decatur, GA, and Linda Lane of Vidalia; and a host of relatives and friends.
