Mary K. Amptmann (nee Tackney), age 97 of O'Fallon, MO, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, November 3, 2016. She was born on Thursday, December 26, 1918 in Glascow, Scotland, the daughter of the late Patrick and Matilda (nee Girvan) Tackney.She was the loving wife of the late Henry J. Amptmann; dear mother of Eileen (Robert) Schulte, Kathleen Amptmann, Marilyn (Chris) Long, Maureen (Jim) Kelly, Patrick Amptmann, Susan Amptmann and the late Ronald (Kathy) Amptmann and Jean Amptmann; cherished grandmother of Anna, Jacob, Lauren, Megan, Marisa, Dan, Natalie and Nathan; loving great-grandmother of Thomas, Trinity, Lilly, Jaxson, Brennan, Layla, Eliza, Benjamin, Brenna and Elijah.Services: Visitation at Hutchens-Stygar Mid Rivers Chapel, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Charles, MO on Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at Immaculate Conception of Dardenne Catholic Church, 7701 Highway N., Dardenne Praire, MO from 9:00am until the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Burial follows at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 5150 Fee Fee Road, Hazelwood, MO.Memorials: Family requests masses or memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 9370 Olive Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63132.
