Mary's Obituary

Mary Fuller Davis, 94, of Montrose, PA, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025 at the Allied Hospice Center in Wilkes-Barre after a short illness.

Born on January 17, 1931, to parents Burnish and Florence Fuller, Mary lived a life filled with music, laughter, and love. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John T. Davis, and her son-in-law, Stephen Noble and her sister Betty Tighe.

Mary is survived by her sister Beverly Mennig, brother Arthur Fuller and three daughters: Donna D. Noble (Stephen Noble, deceased); Jacqueline Stevens (Timothy Stevens); Beth Good (Clair Good). She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, all of whom Mary prayed for fervently.

Mary will be remembered for her deep faith in Christ, her cheeky humor that brought laughter to those around her and her beautiful soprano voice that she used to praise her Savior. In her younger years, she was a member of the Scranton Choraleers, sharing her gift of song in church services, concerts, and family events. Beyond her music, Mary opened her heart and home as a foster parent, offering love and care to children in need. Her legacy of compassion, service, and joy will continue to resonate in the lives of all who knew her.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Hospice Center Wilkes-Barre, 200 South Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702-6229.
