Not sure what to say?

Mary Beth was such a fun-loving classmate in High School. I was so sad to learn she suffered with Crohn's disease, which eventually claimed her life. But, like the positive individual she was, she turned misfortune into a positive experience by helping others.
Sincere condolences to her loved ones on the loss of this bright light. May the Lord keep her and may she rest in sweet peace.

Mary Beth could be so gregarious, & loved every dog she ever saw. She fought the good fight! Rest in heaven with lots of puppies

Mary Beth will be missed. She was such a funny, good person. To her family, may you feel blessed to of had her for the years that you did, I know she will be a missing piece from each of your hearts. My deepest condolences.

Mary Elizabeth's Obituary

CLINTON

Mary Elizabeth Naughton, 72, died Friday, November 14, 2025, in UMass-Memorial Campus, Worcester, after a valiant, longtime battle with Crohn’s Disease.

She leaves a son, Christopher R. Turini; four siblings: Ellen Naughton, Margaret “Peggy” Naughton, Juliana “Julie” Naughton, and Harold P. Naughton, Jr.; her loving partner of 37 years, Henry “Fella” Dziczek, and his sons, Kevin, Eric, and Brian; two grandchildren: Ryder James and Lucas Van Turini; ten nieces and nephews: Erin, Patrick, Molly and Riley O’Brien, Captain Harrison Naughton, USMC, Tiernan, Clare and Eamon Naughton, and Liam and Eilis Naughton; several great-nieces-and-nephews.

Born and raised in Clinton, Mary Beth was the daughter of the late Harold P. and Elizabeth M. (Brogie) Naughton, Sr. She was a graduate of Holy Family High School, Fitchburg, Class of 1971, and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in business from Fitchburg State, and her master’s in business administration from Anna Maria College.

For many years, she worked as a Sales Representative for various Pharmaceutical Companies in the Northeast.

A Friend of Bill, Mary Beth helped countless others in her recovery and sponsored many “pigeons” over the years. She was active in the organization and often participated in speaking engagements. In addition, she was an ardent supporter of the MSPCA and was a true animal lover. Lovingly referred to as the “pied piper of dogs,” it wasn’t unusual for her to have as many as five pups at a time.  Ever the adventurous spirit, Mary Beth enjoyed scuba diving, among many other activities, and traveled extensively throughout Europe and the United States.

Mary Beth was a devout Catholic, and a life-long member of St. John’s Church. Faith was central to her life; she regularly attended the Novena, until illness prevented her from getting there. Though her body failed, her faith never wavered, and she continued those Novena prayers, and her regular Rosary, from the comfort of her home.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 9:00-10:30 am in the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, and burial in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary Beth Naughton to either: Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, National Headquarters, ATTN: Financial Operations, 733 Third Avenue, Ste. 510, New York, NY 10017, or the Clinton Council on Aging, 271 Church St., Clinton, MA 01510.
