Andy, I tried to reach you via phone upon hearing of Mary’s death. Mary was a special person. Intelligent, loving, fun and loyal she was. The Ainsworth and McMurrans are long time friends. Please accept our sympathy.

I had the privilege of working with Mrs Korty a total of 14 years at churchland high school. Two of those years were as the assistant principal who handled a great deal of discipline. I do not think Mrs Korty ever sent any referrals to the office. She was an excellent teacher who always handled her students and they respected her for her classroom management and history knowledge. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Mary but I worked with Bob for many years at the City of Norfolk. Wishing the family peace and comfort in the days ahead.
