Mary Lou Schwind Serene

I met Mrs Serene once but it was truly my loss to have not spent more time with her. I have heard so many beautiful stories from Nicole and Robin and the wonderful childhood they had with their mothers and growing up together. Nicole you are one of the best friends anyone could have. Truly a testament to her mom and dad bringing such a beautiful daughters into this world.

I met Mary Lou once at Nicole's house when my mom was caring for her while Nicole was away on business. She was a delightful person and absolutely adored my mom's dog, Max. She continued to ask about Max right up through her recent hospitalization and Illness. I know Mary Lou will be missed by many. My love to Nicole, Tim and the rest of the family. ❤

It’s been years since we’ve seen each other but the love for Mary Lou always got stronger. She meant so much to me. When I was younger she was my baby sitter, my mentor, but most of all my beautiful cousin. I always loved being with her. She was always so kind, passionate, and had a beautiful smile and a laugh that was contagious! When I was in grade school we had to write a paper on our idol. Mary Lou was akin to a second mother to me. My mom was best friends with her and I’m so sad foe Nicole and Carrie’s loss. I’m grateful I was able to spend some time with her in recent weeks. All my love to you!!

I’m so sad to lose my best friend and for the loss Nicole and Carrie are experiencing. Mary Lou brought great comfort and fellowship to my life and we loved playing bridge, talking about our families and encouraging each other. I will miss her greatly.
