Mary Elizabeth Bibel McBeth,79, of Ruffsdale (South Huntingdon Township), passed away Friday, December 19,2025, at her home surrounded by family and those she loved. Mary was born on May 12, 1946 at her family farm in Ruffsdale, a daughter of the late John Bibel and Mary McIntyre Bibel. She was married to Thomas F. McBeth of Lower Tyrone Township for 58 years.
Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She spent her life as a homemaker, babysitting and loving other children in the neighborhood as her own. She was an avid baker and woman of faith who enjoyed the quiet and simplicity of life. She enjoyed her trips to the family cabin in Sinnemahoning and spending time with her grandchildren, Riley, Jordan and Ollie who will forever miss their Grammy.
Mary will be greatly missed by her loving family; her three children, Betsy and husband Nick, Thomas and wife Emily, Roxanne and husband Brett, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brothers John Bibel, Emery Bibel and sister Helen Crise along with numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant brother Frankie.
The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the hospice staff at AHN and her nurses and aide that provided so much care and comfort over the last few months. Your support and care are unmatched and so greatly appreciated.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (www.fergusonfunerals.com).
