Mary's Obituary

Osborne, Mary L. (nee Gropp), passed away, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born in St. Louis, a daughter of Walter J. and Evelyn (nee Morgan). Mary was a 1959 graduate of the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse at Deaconess Hospital.She was the beloved wife of the late Leroy G. Osborne, who preceded her in death December 25, 1988; dear mother of Linda (Gordon) Simpkins, Neil (Julie) Osborne, and Dianne (John) Stolle; proud grandmother of Ian and Collin Osborne, Brendan (Erin) Simpkins; loving sister of the late Eydie (husband John survives) Doskocil.  A dear friend to many.Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Recently she liked lunch dates with her High School and Nursing School friends and the Red Hat ladies.Services: Family and friends will be received at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin Friday, March 7, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon, with procession leaving for a 12:45 p.m. Roadside service at National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks MO.
