Mathyis L. Kelly, 16 of Chipley, Florida passed from this life on July 21, 2025 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Florida.
Mathyis was born on September 16, 2008 in Fort Hood, Texas to John Michael Kelly and K-Lee Haverstick. Mathyis loved creating Lego masterpieces, listening to music, and watching Star Wars with his brother and father. He was also a big fan of Wolverine and loved spending time in the kitchen cooking for his family. Mathyis aspired to be a chef at a Michelin Star restaurant and cooked the best steak around. Mathyis was always making everyone around him laugh; he had the best sense of humor and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Johnny Carmel Kelly.
He is survived by his father: John Michael Kelly (Dana) of Chipley, FL; mother: K-Lee Sanchez (Harvey) of Sneads, FL; brother: Jerz Kelly of Chipley, FL, Lucas Sanchez of Dothan, AL, Joseph Sanchez of Dothan, AL; sisters: Skylar Dominguez (Reese) of Chipley, FL, Ashlyn Dominguez of Chipley, FL, Pilar Sanchez of Sneads, FL, Angelika Sanchez of Sneads, FL; grandmothers: Angelica Rodriguez of Albuquerque, NM; Christine Vickery of Hartford, AL; uncles: Kris Haverstick of Sneads, FL, Miguel Rodriguez of Albuquerque, NM; aunts: Zoa Schescke (Renee) of Colorado; Debbie Lark (Jimmy) of Panama City, FL; Tina Vickery of Cottondale, FL; Jenell Smith of Cottondale, FL, Cynthia Kelly of Cottondale, FL; Niece: Nova Gainnie.
