Not sure what to say?

I would like to give my deepest condolences to the Dotsey family. I was shocked when the Principal gave us the news of Mr. Dotsey's passing. He is and will forever be part of our Potter Thomas School family. What can I say about Mr. Dostsey, He was a very nice man, always joking, and willing to say Hi! As tired as he could be, he was always at Potter Thomas willing and able to teach our children, even the few tough ones. He was loved at Potter and he will be missed! Prayers for the wife and...

A teacher in every aspect of his life. Teaching math, teaching basketball or teaching poker, Matt taught and taught well. I coached with him, I played with and against him and I always learned from him. Never did I leave a court, a gym or a poker table without feeling that he had imparted something that I could use to be better. A better coach, a better player, or simply a better human. Matt made us all better humans. He will be sorely missed.

My deepest sympathy is sent to all in the Dotsey family. I watched Matt and his siblings grow up on Maple Avenue. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May Matt rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to your family, I’m sure he will be greatly missed. (we went to grade school and high school together) You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I got to know Dots at the Narberth Basketball League and he exemplified what we wanted to see in all of our coaches: taking the game seriously, taking developing young men to be better seriously but never taking himself seriously. Always enthusiastic, never coming in a bad mood, and always ready for action. Though I’m now far removed from Narberth as I could be now living on Long Island in New York, Dots still has a strong impact on me as a person. Love you Dots. I will try to use my heart...

My thoughts and condolences to Katie and the rest of the Dotsey family. Matt and his smile would make everyone’s day as well as his sense of humor. Had many laughs at Belmont playground with him and Bekah! RIP Matt

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

We went to grade school together. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. So sorry for your loss.

Great and unselfish player on the court. Smart and funny off.
Somewhat of a pickup Bball legend. “You should have played with this guy”.
Had an observation on everything!
Glad I got to know him.
The kind of guy you looked forward to seeing again. Sad that we won’t...
