My condolences to Matt's family. Everything about Matt was first class. He was one of the best basketball officials I knew, but more importantly he was a solid person who had integrity and treated everyone with respect. As one of the best basketball officials in the Northeast, Matt set a great example for me when I was beginning as an official. He always had time to share a story or insight to help you improve.
