Not sure what to say?

Matt and I attended Xavier together and I fondly remember him, his sister Dorothy and brother Pete. And of course spouse Geraldine. Congratulations to Gerry and Matt on their enduring marriage. I remember many great parties at Matt's teenage home on 85th Street. Happy memories

Everyone is a wonderful caring person after their death.Death doesn’t make a person great

I knew Matt as a dedicated, supportive member of the Brooklyn Methodist Hospital for many years. I send my condolences to Gerry and his family. May he rest in peace.

Matt was a long time great friend. A wonderful loving kind man. Ray and Heidi O’Brie

The Vetri family has long enjoyed ties to Shelter Island, which began in 1970. They subsequently bought a home in Hay Beach where they summered for many years. Matt and Gerry have been members for over 50 years of Gardiners Bay Country Club.

Matt was an avid sportsman, and had a passion for golf, tennis and skiing. In addition to being passionate about sports, Matt loved gardening and was an enthusiastic reader of history and politics.
