Not sure what to say?

On behalf of Christ the King Parish, may Maureen rest in peace, and may her family and all those who loved her be comforted during this time.

I loved Maureen dearly and treasured her friendship. We had met just a year ago when I was taking my rubbish out and heard a “pssst!” from next door. There was Maureen! We ended up talking for over an hour. We were both “old Readingites” and talked about everyone and everything we’d known about Reading for 40 years or more. We ended on a hug and a kiss and coffee soon! I mentioned to my neighbor, Jason, Maureen’s youngest boy that I’d had a ball with his Mum. He let me know later she’d hurt...

Although I haven't seen Maureen for many years, I will always remember her. She was one of my many "moms" during my adolescent years, there to make sure I didn't get myself into too much trouble during high school and early college years. She juggled responsibilities gracefully and always, always kept her family at the fore. She was smart, funny, and her love for her kids and husband was obvious. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing, but I know Rich and the rest of the family will carry her...

Great memories of the friendship we had over the years with both you and Richie. May you rest in peace. Lv Tom and Grace

Missing you like something else

Grammy, you were the most wonderful woman I have ever met. God couldn’t have blessed my life with a better guide than you. I will forever be grateful for anything and everything you have ever done for me. I will miss you like there’s no tomorrow, but honor your memory by being the best version of myself I can be. You are going to be missed to deeply

Love, Stephanie
