MAXINE DOCKUS

Maxine E. Dockus, 95, of Spring Valley, died at 7:30 am Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the DuPage Care Center in Wheaton.

Prayers for Maxine will begin at 11:30 am, Friday, November 30th, at the Barto Funeral Home in Spring Valley, followed by mass of Christian Burial at noon at Nativity of Our Lord Parish (Mautino Drive location) with Rev. Scott Potthoff officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in Spring Valley. Visitation for Maxine will be held from 10:00 am until time of prayers at 11:30 am on Friday, November 30th, at the Barto Funeral Home.

Maxine was born on September 30, 1923 in Spring Valley to William and Armida (Scapelini) Young. She married Charles Dockus on June 10, 1944 in Spring Valley. He died on March 26, 2015.

Maxine was a member of the Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Spring Valley.

Survivors are 3 sons, David (Sonni) Dockus of Princeton, Wisconsin; Kim Dockus of Plainfield; Dan (Patti) Dockus of Arlington Hts.; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, William Young of Waterloo, Iowa

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimers Association.
