Not sure what to say?

Getting our race on!

So many great memories from book club and races to movie premiers and craft shows. In the words of our favorite band, Pearl Jam “yes, I understand that every life must end. As we sit alone, I know someday we must go..stay with me. Let’s just breathe”. Gonna miss you my sweet friend.

My hearts breaks for everyone who knew Melissa, especially the Daunt family. My prayers go out to you. I'll remember Melissa as someone who always made time for people and included everyone. She even drove down to Ann Arbor to visit me when my son was born and stayed to watch the Tigers game with me. My time at GDL will always be special to me because of the people there, especially because of people like Melissa. She was many things, but above all, she was always kind. And in the end, that's...

I am so sorry to hear of Melissa's passing. She was always such a sweet person to me, and my family.

We are sending our love and prayers for the Daunt family as they go through the process of laying their beautiful daughter, sister, and auntie to rest. May the love and promises of the Lord give you peace during this time.

Our prayers go out to the Daunt family. May Melissa’s loving life be celebrated and cherished by all.

Dear family of Melissa, I was so sorry to see of Melissa's passing. I worked with her years ago at GDL and she was a kind, bright woman with a wonderful soul! Her smile would light up a room. A wonderful, caring person who was special to so many! May God comfort all of you!

Melissa was usually the first person I saw at work each morning. Her smile lit up my days, and many times I'd visit Tech Services just to spend a few minutes chatting with her. She always made me feel cared for and loved. We bonded over our roles as Aunt, although I must say she wins the gold medal in that category. She was absolutely devoted to her nieces and nephew. She spoke glowingly of them and delighted in spending days off with them and attending their various activities. At work, she...

I was lucky enough to call Melissa a co-worker since 2007. In all that time, I never saw her much without a smile on her face, and certainly nothing bad to say when it was a trying shift. She loved her family very much, and since we all spend so much time together at work she was a huge part of our backup GDL family we have at work.
It is a huge loss for all of us, but that is minor compared to her family and friends.
She will be greatly missed for her awesome smile, positive...
