Mel was beautiful. She is ny best friend and my sister. I miss her so much and sometimes I forget and pick up the phone to call her to tell her something or get her advice. I love you Mel

I wasn't able to be there for the service but was able to watch it online. I miss with Melody! We always rode together on Girl Scout field trips. We were also room buddies on the trips too. I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard you had passed away. Mel, I always loved how you were yourself without apologies and true to your family and yourself. You are leaving a huge hole in this family, you are so missed! My condolences to everyone who suffered the loss of this wonderful woman.
