Your Pop- pop, my Uncle Joe would bring him to visit my parents house when he was little to play with my daughter, Maeve, the same age. Uncle Joe adored Merritt as did Justin, such a devoted uncle. A sweet funny kid.

Sending you all loves and hugs. I remember Merritt about 10 yrs old coming over to rake leaves and play with our dog! He was such a sweet kid, funny, loving, kind and loved animals. As a teen he’d always check in and check up on us, popping by once in a while, it was a pleasure watching him grow up. Always so polite and real. We loved Merritt! You will be missed.

Such a heartbreak..so very young with his whole life ahead of him, I have very fond memories of his many trips with us to the beach. So much fun. God bless him always. Sleep well Merritt!

Merritt was a tremendous young man. He was Decon Froio's favorite altar boy. He was a terrific artist & sent me many lovely works of art that I have framed that hang in my living room. We wrote back & forth for the last several years & I miss him very much.
