Michael Allen Blades was born February 29, 1964, in Salisbury, MD to the late William Harry Blades and JoAnn Blades. He was raised in the Preston area. He has been a resident of northern Anne Arundel County for over 40 years. Michael worked as a self-employed contractor and a heavy machine operator during his working life. He enjoyed staying busy by helping friends, family and members of his community. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Severna Park. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Apart from his time outdoors, he enjoyed shopping, taking long drives, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his brother Ricky Blades. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Ashley Kush, Fawn McMahon, Allysa McMahon, stepdaughter Mary Sine, brother Keith Blades, sister Robin Edmondson, his partner Sharon Paschall, his niece Auburn Mellon as well as 11 grandchildren.
