Dear Betty, Sammy, Marie, and all other family members,
Mike will always be remembered by me and my family as one of the kindest, most generous, fun- loving people we have ever known. He was my older cousin who Me and my siblings always spent one week out of every summer with. How we loved that week. Despite the teasing by Mike and Ken about how wimpy we "city kids" from Morganfield were, we loved every minute of their attention.

Michael R. Blake, age 69, of Waverly, KY died Saturday 8/27/16 at Methodist Hospital Union County in Morganfield, KY. He graduated from St. Vincent Academy in 1964. He was a member of St Ann Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mike was a retired farmer and retired foreman of the KY State Highway Department. He was a proud grandfather.He was preceded in death by his parents Randolph and Elizabeth Blake; infant sister Jane Blake and brother Kenneth Blake.Survivors includeHis wife of 49 years Betty Blake of Waverly2 daughters Laura Lawyer and husband Ryan of Morganfield, KY Susan Blake of Robards, KY1 son David Blake and wife Jeanine of Belleair, FL6 Grandchildren Maddie & Morgan Blake Will & Anna Lawyer Elayna Carver & Emily Thomas1 brother Sam Blake of Waverly1 sister Marie White of Sturgis, KYFuneral service will be 11 AM Wednesday 8/31/16 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield, KY. Fr.
