Michael A. Boyer Jr.

Michael A. Boyer, Jr. 49, of Newark, DE passed on Friday, April 10, 2015 at his home. Born in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Teresa Martin Boyer and Michael A. Boyer, Sr.He was a graduate of Avon Grove High School, class of 1984 and Delaware Community College. He later attended and graduated from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy and served as a Pennsylvania State Police for many years. He also worked at MBNA Bank, Lincoln University, Chester County Farms and his most recent employment, George W. Hill Correctional Facility in Thornton, PA. Michael enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends.He is survived by one daughter, Teresa ?Tessa? May Boyer; one sister, Michelle Williams; two brothers, David Williams and Darryl Williams; maternal grandmother, Hilda M. Martin; paternal grandfather, Linwood Boyer; aunt, Jackie Smith; godparents, Betty and Alton Boyer; a goddaughter in Florida, GaBriell Denise Summers and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
