Not sure what to say?

He was my neighbor when I was a girl ,i enjoyed watching him on the tractor at harvest time .He was a good person .

Super nice guy ! His parents were really good people,I enjoyed visiting with them at their home just across the cornfield in HIgh Ridge,Missouri. We would swim in the pond on their property, fun summer times.Rest in God's Loving arms Michael!

We were neighbors when we were children .We lived on Rock creek road,High Ridge ,Mo. To me he was a hard-working person ,loved his family .

To a loving husband, father, and horse show dad. This candle is nothing compared to how you could light up a room, rest in peace Mike.

Sending my deepest sympathy to all of MIke's family. I am Linda Woods. The hairdresser who will miss our conversations that we had every four or so weeks. He was an inspiration to me. Always full of god advice and comments. I will miss him so much. It is with a heavy heart that I wish him peace and comfort. Rest In Peace my dear friend. God Bless.

I was one of the employees who loved him. It was a pleasure being friends with and working for Mike. He will be missed.

We send our love to a great and loving family. In Gods love Tom and JoAnn

Michael's Obituary

Michael Stephan Candrl, age 68, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 11, 2016 with his loving family by his side. He fearlessly battled a rare Bile Duct Cancer (Intrahepatic Colangiocarcinoma) for a little over a year.  Mike was born Monday, February 24, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri to Joseph and Julia (nee Budlovic) Candrl. A proud Veteran, Mike served 3 years in the US Army during the Vietnam War. It was here that he served with The Department of Intelligence at The Pentagon in Washington, DC.

Throughout his 45 year career in the printing industry, his loyalty and affinity for people set him apart. He was not only respected, but also loved by his many colleagues and employees.

Mike was a talented Piddler. He enjoyed his projects and home renovations. He could always be counted on to lend a hand and share his many talents with friends and neighbors. He loved his home and could always be found working around the yard, his cabin, or at the horse barn. Horses, Cars, Motorcycles, and a job well done always brought a smile to his face. However, family and friends are what brought him the most happiness.
