Michael L. Carr, 57, of Kankakee, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
Devoted son of the late Robert (late Joan) Carr; loving husband of Maria, nee Buczyna, Carr; cherished brother of the late Dennis Carr, Kenneth (Sherry) Carr, and Bobby Carr; fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews; dearest son-in-law of Helen (late Stanislaw) Buczyna, and adored brother-in-law of many.
Michael was an avid car repair enthusiast. He loved spending holidays, especially Christmas, with his nieces and nephews.
Visitation Monday, February 9, 2026, from 4 – 8 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Funeral services Tuesday, February 10, 2026, 10 a.m. from the funeral home to SS. Cyril & Methodius Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment private.
