I went to St. Bernard School with Mike and we were in the same grade. In later years I used to see him all the time sitting out front of his house on Bleigh St. and he always gave me a big friendly wave! Once he helped my brother save a person who had an accident on the side of the school yard. I am so saddened to hear that Mike passed away suddenly; I just found out or I would have gone to his Funeral Mass back in August at St. Bernard. I used to see his mom on Bleigh St. walking to Mass...
