Mike You were always laughing and smiling. I remember being up on the hill for the campfire parties. You always made sure there was enough wood. There was 1 night we ran out, and I remember walking around looking for whatever wood we could find because we were not done partying yet. Your daughter Jess was my little buddy for a while. I took out Mingo a few times with Maggie. She laughed at me once because I screamed at a snake being in the water beside my foot and ran out of the creek. Then...

Michael's Obituary

Michael Wayne Demchak, 61, of Monongahela, died Sunday, October 5, 2025 in his home after a brief illness. He was born February 15, 1964 in New Eagle, the son of Marjorie McCarty Demchak who survives and resides in Monongahela and the late Jack Craig Demchak.

Mike was a 1982 graduate of Ringgold High School. After graduation, he was employed at Magiske Masonry in Monongahela where he worked for forty years. Mike was a veteran having served in the US Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and country music. He was caring, giving and more than willing to always lend a hand.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Jessica Demchak of New Eagle; brother, Shane Demchak at home; two sisters, Shari Ohler at home, Shelly Demchak of Finleyville.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark and Daryl Demchak.

There will not be any services for Michael. Memorial donations are being accepted at the funeral home on behalf of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela.
