I worked for many years with Mike at AWP. He was a very talented, hard working person and was so happy the day he received his Associates degree. He will be missed by many! Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Carol Chamberlin

Sherri, so sorry to hear about your son, Michael. We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Michael at AWP. He always had a smile and ready to help out with our electrical issues on Chrysler Line and Coregation. Hadn't seen him several years. Knew he had big family and loved spending time with him. What a tremendous loss and at a young age. Prayers go out to his family.

Michael's Obituary

Michael Shane Hahn, 47, passed away on March 9, 2026, at his residence in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Born January 24, 1979, in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, he was the son of Ralph Glenn Hahn and Sherri Franklin Hahn.

Michael was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship in Lawrenceburg and a 1997 graduate of Anderson County High School. He later earned an associate degree in Commercial Electricity from Bluegrass Community and Technical College. Michael was a hardworking and resourceful man who took pride in learning how to repair or build just about anything. He was formerly employed in maintenance at Nashville Wire Products and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help others.

In his free time, Michael enjoyed hunting and especially valued the quiet time spent in his deer stand. He also loved to cook, particularly when preparing meals for his family. He enjoyed sports throughout his life, especially baseball, and was a talented player during his school years. He remained a devoted fan of University of Kentucky athletics and the New York Yankees. Michael also loved fireworks, making the Fourth of July his favorite holiday. Above all, he cherished his family. He was always proud of his children and found great joy in being “Pap” to his beloved granddaughter, Adalynn Paige.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his children, Dalton (Lexi) Hahn, Madison Hahn, Christian Hahn, Lilliana Hahn, and Mason Hahn, all of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; his granddaughter, Adalynn Paige Hahn; and his siblings, LaStacia (Steve) Dalton of Louisville, Kentucky, Leslie (Patrick) Peters of Versailles, Kentucky, and Ryan (Fafa) Hahn of Los Angeles, California.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Ninevah Christian Church, 1195 Ninevah Road, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, with Bro. Garrett Franklin officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M. at the church.
