I will miss Michael forever and ever and ever you will be in my heart. I will never ever forget you. You’re sweet kindness when you call me every day or just give me a surprise visit or just driving down the road in the sunlight listening to your beautiful, mellow music I will think of you all the time you’re always with me no matter what I will pray for you over and over. Michael's Obituary

Michael Shawn Hernan, 42, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on March 14, 2025, in Tempe, Arizona. He was born on February 20, 1983, to Shawn Patrick Hernan and Esther Diane Tarango.

Michael is survived by his loving mother, Esther Diane Tarango, and his devoted brother, Nicholas Edwin Rodriguez. He will also be deeply missed by his cherished aunts, niece, cousins, grand cousins, grandaunt, granduncle, and grandmother.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Shawn Patrick Hernan, and his grandmother, Rosalie, whom he loved dearly.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Michael's life will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Tempe Mortuary in Tempe, Arizona. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of his kind spirit and the joy he brought to those around him.

Michael's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, as a beloved son, brother, and friend. May he rest in peace.
