Not sure what to say?

Dear Leslee, Cindy, Missy, and family: We consider the day we met you all on our first bus tour a very lucky day! The fun we had on that trip and the many others we took solidified the love we feel for Mike, Leslee and your family to be very special. We will always have such wonderful memories of the many lunches and talk8ng and laughing together some of the best times of our lives! We are so sad to hear about this, and just know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers! LOve, Will and Judi

Obituary

Michael's Obituary

Beloved husband of Leslee P. Jacobson for 53 years.  Dear father of Missy (Jeff) Lapinski and Cindy Jacobson.  Loving grandfather (“Pawpaw”) of Connor and Tyler Lapinski.  Beloved brother of Arnie (Joan) Jacobson and the late Cheryle (the late Lindsay) Cann.  Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.  The family wishes to thank his caregiver, Alecza Fernandez, for all her wonderful care and compassion.

Michael was born on February 29, a leap-year baby, and he reveled in the fact that even at 82 he was technically only 20½. Above all, he was a devoted family man. He and Leslee cherished their Saturdays with their grandchildren, often taking them on special outings and creating lasting memories together.  Michael proudly served his country for four years in the United States Air Force. He carried that same spirit of service into his community, volunteering for many years at the St. Louis County Air Show, serving for many years on the Board of B’nai El Congregation, including as treasurer, and was also a member of the Board of the Special School District.  Michael will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Graveside service Monday, March 9, 1:30pm at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Road.  Contributions in his memory may be made to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, 10950 Schuetz Road, St. Louis, MO 63146; Temple Emanuel, 12166 Conway Road, St. Louis, MO 63141; or to the charity of your choice.
