Michael's Obituary

Michael “Mike” Kirkpatrick, beloved Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Grandson, and Friend, passed away at the age of 52, a current resident of Warrenton, Missouri, on March 3, 2025. 

Michael is preceded in death by Evelyn and Jack Kirkpatrick, and Billy J. Norman (grandparents),  Larry Brown (Godfather), Harry and Nancy Kirkpatrick, and Jack Kirkpatrick (Uncles and Aunt). He is survived by his son Jacob M. Kirkpatrick (Laura Varone); his parents James A. Kirkpatrick and Linola J. Tullock, along with step-father William J. Tullock; sister Michelle L. Smith (Jerry E. Smith); grandmother, Ann Norman; Aunt, Judy and Robert Richter; niece Nichole A. Smith; great-nephew, James M. Smith-Dwyer; Dylan D. Smith-Deshone; great-niece, Chelsea G. Smith; and dog, Kobra. Also included as family would be his very close and dear relatives, many friends, co-workers, and neighbors who all held a special place in his life.  

Michael was born on December 4, 1972, in St. Louis, Missouri, to James “Jim” and Linola “Jean” Kirkpatrick. He attended Parkway North High School. He went on to work for over 35 years as a Cement Mason. Michael was a devoted and hardworking individual, a protector, and a free spirit who lived his life to the fullest. He was a loving and caring soul who left a lasting impact on those around him, and his family will forever cherish the time they shared with him. 

Michael was a true outdoorsman, finding peace and adventure in riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and enjoying bonfires with music. His happiest moments were spent on his grandpa’s farm. When he wasn’t outside, he could be found supporting his son at his baseball events. His memory will live on through the countless moments of joy and love he shared with those around him.

A Celebration of Life Visitation for Michael “Mike” Kirkpatrick will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 4:00PM - 7:00PM at Martin Funeral Home, 510 East Main Street, Warrenton Missouri 63383.
