I got the opportunity to work with Michael at Kindercare. The kids LOVED Mr. Michael. Everyday you could catch him shooting some baskets with all of the little boys at the daycare, and all you could do is just sit back and smile at how engaged he was with them. They looked forward to him coming in everyday, often times asking around “When is Mr. Michael coming?”!!! They loved everything about having such a cool teacher! Rajiah also worked there & the two were inseparable. You hardly EVER saw...

The sun rose in the life of Michael Jayden Maslo on May 24th, 2002. Sadly, his journey ended on August 1st, 2023. Michael is preceded in death by Simeon (Brother) and Rose Marie Maslo (Grandmother).
Michael affectionally known as Jayden was educated in the St. Louis county school districts of Francis Howell, Parkway, and Pattonville. At 2 years old Jayden showed heavy interest in sports and began to play soccer and football. He loved playing basketball, playing video games especially Madden/NBA Live, and hanging out with his friends. In May of 2020 he graduated from Pattonville Highschool. He was currently attending college at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) where he was majoring in sports media. He was very proud of his accomplishments and wanted to become famous so that he could take care of his parents. Jayden and his dad Michael were best friends. Jayden could have not asked for better parents.
June 17th, 2022 Jayden's life changed forever, and this tragic accident changed the lives of everyone around him. During this challenging time, he had a tremendous amount of moral support and love. Rajiah Johnson (Girlfriend & Caregiver) stayed by his side from the beginning to the end of our son's life. Her parents Rajah and Shenelle Johnson were his bonus parents that took him in and treated him like their own. August 1st, 2023 around 9:15 am Jayden became unresponsive, the nurse attempted to bring him back, but he succumbed to his injuries. God had better plans and he was called home to become one of God's angels.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents Michael Maslo, Antonia Maslo, and Sophia Robinson-Maslo. 1 brother (Henry Dowdy), 2 sisters (Raven & Deionshe), grandparents (Christine Johnson/Terrance James/Eugene Maslo, 3 uncles, 4 aunts, host of cousins, relatives, friends, and Rajiah Johnson his caregiver/girlfriend.
Michael "Jayden" Maslo was loved by so many and touched a lot of lives while we had him on earth. He will be truly missed forever.
