Michael Harless May of Canada, Kentucky, passed away at Pikeville Medical Center, on Thursday December 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on January 8,1972 to Joyce Curry. He is survived by his loving wife Candace May; one daughter, Mikah (Cody) Dotson of Thacker West Virginia; three sons, Shawn (Alice) May of Naugatuck West Virginia; Gregory May of West Virginia, Peyton May of West Virginia; a loving grandson who was the apple of his eye, Canaan Dotson; his devoted sister; Tonya Taylor of Dix Fork, Kentucky, a host of family and friends. Michael was a member of the Pinsonfork Church of God.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 AM Monday, December 29,2025, at R.E. Rogers Funeral Home with Brandon Collinsworth officiating. The burial will follow at the May Cemetery, in Canada, Kentucky, with Michael's family and friends serving as pallbearers. The visitation will be held from 6-9 PM Sunday December 28, 2025, at R.E.
