Michael Benno Einhaus, 66, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on February 15, 2026.
A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Legacy Church of God with Brett Einhaus officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Mike was born April 18, 1959, in Germany, the son of Larry Einhaus and Jean Forgus. He graduated from Petrolia High School in 1977. Mike married Julie on March 13, 1998, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Before retiring a few years ago, Mike worked as a Housekeeping Manager at Sheppard Inn on Sheppard Air Force Base as well as Kessler Air Force Base. Mike loved fishing and woodworking. He often shared the wood projects he made with others, items such as a rocking horse, clocks, shelves. Everyone who received one of his items treasured them.
To know Mike was to love him. He could be opinionated and strict, but he loved his family above all else. He had a tough exterior but a soft heart. Those who knew him and loved him were blessed to have him in their lives.
Mike was preceded in death by his dad, Larry; mom, Jean; step-dad, Carroll; and brothers, Rusty and Kenneth.
Remaining to cherish Mike’s memory are his wife, Julie; children, Brett and wife Jennifer, Blake, and Lance; grandchildren, Nate, Rylan, and Lainey; sisters and their husbands, Debbie and Allen, and Trina and Rodney; nieces and nephews, Blake and wife Ivy, Connor, Elyssa, Cody, and Christian.
