Michael's Obituary

Michael W. Molinar, Navy Veteran, devoted husband, proud father, brother, and lifelong friend, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025. Born in 1947, Mike served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, carrying himself with courage, humility and a quiet strength that inspired all who knew him.

Mike is survived by his wife, Kim; his children, Kimberly, Gavin and Shawnae; his sisters, Linda, Theresa and Sherry; his brother, William; his furbabies, Buddy, Leila, Ziggy- and yes Paris too; and countless friends who he treated like family. He now joins a ton of loved ones in heaven.

A larger-than-life personality, Mike lived with humor, creativity, and boundless love. He was the ultimate social butterfly, the “bully of the bullies,” and the guy everyone wanted in their corner. He loved life—whether enjoying beach days and camping trips, playing sports, building his legendary poker skills at the poker room or later on his tablet, reading hundreds of books, dabbling in art and doodling, or savoring his favorite foods: bear-claw donuts, old-fashioned donuts, tortillas, breads, steaks, lobster, and baked potatoes.

Professionally, Mike was a proud plumber, welder, and pipefitter, mentoring coworkers who became lifelong friends. Yet his true legacy was the love and laughter he shared with family and friends, his playful sayings, and his unwavering kindness.

Family favorite quote:

“Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.”

Mike’s spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him, as we remember his humor, his creativity, his generosity, and the joy he brought to life.

Cheers, Mike, Julio & Sancho (iykyk).

We love you. We miss you. We’ll honor you every day!
