Michael P. Ferris

Michael P. Ferris passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025. Mike was born on April 13, 1936 to the late William Ferris and Dorothy Gott Ferris. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret (Wendy) Ferris. He is the brother of Joseph E. (Jef) Ferris, and father to Mike (Kim), Lori (Rob), Meg (Mike), and Bobby (Tony). Grandfather to Janie Ferris, Anna Ferris, Paige Courtney, Peter Courtney, Palmer Courtney, Julian Merrill, Ferris Merrill, and Gus Merrill and many nieces and nephews.

Mike was a proud graduate of Purcell Marian and later went to the Navy. He loved many things including Golf, XU basketball, Miller Lite and taking his chances on the horses. Most of all he loved his wife and family and worked hard to create many lasting memories together that will go on.

A Visitation with Mass immediately following will be held at Guardian Angels Church, 6531 Beechmont Avenue, Cincinnati, 45230 on Wednesday, August 27th. Visitation in the gathering space is at 10:30 and Mass begins at 11:30.
