He also leaves behind 25 nieces and nephews, and 21 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Michael graduated from Denton High School in 1979 and earned a B.B.A. from Northwood University. He worked alongside his father at Foxworth Galbraith during high school, later spending 26 years with Peterbilt Motors. He concluded his career in sales with Kent Automotive and Wurth USA.
While Mike had a career in sales, his real gift was in building relationships. He didn’t just promote products—he promoted the people behind them. Whether it was the team at Duluth Trading Company, his trusted doctors and nurses, his State Farm agent, or his fellow church greeters, Mike believed in the people he interacted with and made sure others did too. He built trust with sincerity and encouraged others to support the individuals behind the service, not just the brand.
A dedicated fan of the Dallas Mavericks, Texas Longhorns, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Cowboys, Mike never missed a chance to cheer on his teams. He was a proud foodie, with Whataburger and Texas Roadhouse topping his list of favorite spots. Time with his grandchildren was one of his greatest joys, and he never passed up an opportunity to be with them.
Mike could strike up a conversation with anyone, and within minutes, you’d know his story—and more importantly, he’d know yours. Whether welcoming someone at church, chatting about cars, or recommending his favorite pair of underwear (Duluth, if he hadn’t told you), Mike brought warmth, humor, and genuine interest to every interaction.
Michael will be remembered for his kind heart, people-first spirit, and the lasting connections he created wherever he went. His legacy lives on through his family and all those fortunate enough to have called him a friend.
