Michael's Obituary

Michael William Rose, 48, of Paxton passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A memorial service will 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023 at The Salvation Army Church and Worship Center, 502 N Prospect Ave, Champaign with Commissioners Barry and Sue Swanson officiating.  Family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Michael was born May 21, 1975 in Champaign the son of Howard C. and Donna L. Coleman Rose. He married Tiffany Castile October 29, 1994 in Champaign. She survives.

Along with his wife, Tiffany, he is survived by his mother, Donna Rose of Penfield; two sons, Cody Rose of Penfield, Austin Rose of Rantoul; brother, Fred Rose of Pennsylvania; godmother, Ethel Horton of Penfield; and several other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and godfather, Edward Horton.

Michael graduated from PBL High School in 1993. He was a maintenance supervisor at Combe Laboratories, Rantoul for 26 years. Michael was affiliated with The Salvation Army Church.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working on classic cars. Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a good cook and always enjoyed keeping busy.
