My sister's, Connie, Becky and I just found out about Michael's passing three days ago. His dad, Rodney was our first cousin on my mother's side of the family. I send my heart felt sympathy to Sean, Gail, Sheldon and the rest of the family. God be with you all.

I am so sorry to hear about Mike it came as such a shock I still can picture Mike ,Sheldon , and Chuck running around north Erie street as kids my heart goes out to youGail. RIP Mike.

I just wanted to tell Mike's family what a nice, hard working, good friend Mike was to me, we worked together at Cabelas. I worked overnight shift in womens clothing and warehouse, and he was in the fishing department, he was always there to help with anything us girls needed. My heart breaks for him and his family. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Michael's Obituary

Michael A. Sherbs, 40, of Shadyside, OH, formerly of Centerville, OH died Saturday, February 9, 2019 at his residence. He was born August 3, 1978 in Wheeling, WV a son of Gail(Bob) (Bennett) Sherbs Thompson of Yorkville, OH and the late James Rodney Sherbs who died 04/21/2015.

Michael was employed at Cabela’s Distribution Center and he loved to fish and hunt.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step-sister, Kelly Thompson Danielson.

Surviving along with Mother are two brothers, Sheldon Sherbs of Dillonvale, OH and Shawn Martin of Moundsville, WV, a step-sister, Bobbi Jean Hamilton of Martins Ferry and a nephew Dusty Michael Sherbs.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 2 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 5:00 p.m. at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating.
