Michael Dean Zormier, age 65, of Hobart passed away Tuesday August 26, 2025, at the St Mary Medical Center in Hobart, Indiana. Michael was born February 20, 1960, in Gary, Indiana to the late Bobby and Phoebe (Cooper) Zormier. He was a steelworker that worked the line at Pacesetter Steel. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, listening to music, and watching movies.
He is survived by his loving wife Shelly; five children, Amber Alvarado of Hobart, Mandy Zormier of Hobart, Mallory (Wayne) Grabowski of Hobart, Ryan (Sarah) Zormier of Brownsburg, and Adam Zormier of Crown Point; sixteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Marilyn Conner.
Funeral Services will held on Friday at 11:30 am at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crown Point.
