WATERTOWN, NY – Michelle R. Averell, 53, of Binsse Street, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Samaritan Medical Center.
A graveside service and a celebration-of-life gathering will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
Michelle was born on January 22, 1972 in Watertown, the daughter of Walter and Sharon (Stillman) Conway. She received her education locally and worked as a CNA for Samaritan Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Donald W. Averell; her mother, Sharon Conway of Watertown; four children, Jordan (Kayla McNulty) Mallette, Tristan (Paige Flarity) Cronce, Destiny Cronce, and Dallas Cronce, all of Watertown; stepchildren, Nathan Averell of Watertown, Amy (Walter) Conway of Watertown, Johanna (Stephen) Snyder of North Carolina, and Brian Averell and Stephen Hunt of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Madden, Parker, Addison, Shaun, and Kai; and her siblings, Mary (Dave) Deline, Melissa (Paul) Horning, Judy (Randy) Weston, Tracy (Scott) Hamblin, Stanley (Jolene) Conway, and Walter (Amy) Conway; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
