Michelle Rene Borom was born on November 4, 1965, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Phillip Borom and Ora Lee Patterson. Michelle was raised in Youngstown, Ohio, by her maternal Grandmother Mrs. Cora M Borom (Gilbert). 

Michelle started her studies at Youngstown State University, and shortly after, decided to focus on building her family, a role she embraced wholeheartedly.

Michelle met Lawrence while working at Dayton’s Department Store, and it was love at first sight. From that moment forward, they were inseparable.

Driven by her passion for health and wellness, Michelle became a certified personal trainer, a role that allowed her to encourage and support others in their journeys. With a natural heart for helping others, she gravitated toward work that was rooted in service. Whether through fitness, the food and beverage industry, or caring for her family, she approached every role with compassion, dedication, and a genuine desire to uplift those around her. Michelle transitioned from personal training and fitness to becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom, a role she cherished deeply. 

Michelle had a deep love for animals, especially her two dogs, Trinity and Nina, and her beloved cat, Nala. She was always smiling, had a bubbly personality, and could make friends wherever she went.

Michelle was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Cora, and her mother, Ora Lee Patterson. 

She is survived by her devoted husband, Lawrence; her children, Alexis, Kenneth, and Faith; her treasured grandchildren, Alex and Aaron; her sister, Dawn Patterson and three other siblings; and her father, Phillip Borom (Norma); along with several Aunts, Uncles and many cousins who loved and will truly miss her.
