Mickey was one of the first neighbors I met when our family moved to Dearborn in the blizzard of '78. She was such a caring and friendly person that we felt very welcomed to the neighborhood and to Dearborn. Sincere condolences to her family and wishing them many good memories.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy Mickey’s family. She was truly a special person and was always so kind and caring to everyone.
She would look out for our father and give us updates as a most loving nurse and family member.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I send my deepest sympathy to the family in the loss of such a lovely lady. Being a member of Aamjiwnaang First Nation myself, I feel a bit of connection to Mickey through our shared cousin Bernice Petit. I only met her a few times over the years but I remember her as being very kind and very friendly.

Mickey touched so many lives with her kindness and that was so true in working along side of her as a nurse myself. I am truly better off for knowing her and truly sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers

I met Mickey through my friend Dennis when we were in high school. I had a job near her home and found myself wandering over to her house during my breaks.
She always welcomed me. She treated me like a friend, a counselor, a mom.
I am so grateful she was a part of my life.

Mickey introduced our daughter, Theresa, to Jim while they were both nurses at Providence Hospital. They married and 26 years later they are still going strong. She was the happiest, kindest and most generous person, always smiling which made you feel welcome. And what an amazing cook!! She loved hosting family gatherings where there was always way too much food.
We are thankful to have known her, and grateful for the day her son Jim came into our lives.
Rest now.

In loving memory of a wonderful friend and fabulous nurse. We started our nursing careers together and we worked the same units until you retired. I will always cherish the memories we made together. I love you and I will miss you always. Rest in peace my spitfire friend.
